Fine Art Photography
Not too much planning had gone into this shot, and I wasnt exactly sure where the sun would be relative to the spot I had chosen for the composition I wanted. I had envisioned the sun and the Casino on the same side of the frame, but I soon realized as the dark gave way to morning twilight that the sun was further south. I could have moved my own position northwest, but I would have been at a much higher elevation, losing two aspects of the composition that I was seeking. As it was the location of the sun added considerably to the composition, and the final photograph is more dramatic than I had envisioned.
