Convict Lake Reflection

This photograph was taken one morning in July of 2012 before the sun reached the scene.  The geology of Mount Laurel, combined with presence of two large Jeffery pines and their reflections, contribute to an artistic rendition at the northwest end of the lake.

If you haven't been to Convict Lake you may be in for special visual treat.  It isn't far from Mammoth Lakes, and boasts one of the finest restaurants in the Eastern Sierra.

Even I took my time finding this place, but was glad when I finally did.  I visit Convict many times each summer now.
